He enrolled in the CDL training program at Howard College, stayed committed to learning, and successfully earned his Commercial Driver’s License along with industry credentials. Shortly after, he secured a CDL driver position with M and W Electrical LLC, moving directly from training into full-time employment. His story underscores how workforce training and career-focused education can create meaningful personal and professional growth.
Shannon joined the WIOA Adult program to earn his CDL and build a stable career. With WIOA support, he completed CDL training in May 2025 and quickly secured full-time work as a driver with Reece Albert. His new career has strengthened his financial stability and allows him to support himself and his mother.
Omar enrolled in the WIOA Adult Program to earn his CDL at Howard College and quickly turned training into results. After earning his license in January 2026, he secured full-time employment within two weeks and is now building a stable career in the transportation industry.
