There are more than 52,000 foundations; 5,000 corporations and thousands of government programs that offer funding for innovative, creative and quality project or program proposals. The Planning & Resource Development Department has the advantage of professional training, workforce and economic development expertise, and a proven track record of securing funding. Our Planning & Resource Development Department works in partnership to collaborate with the private sector, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and the communities in which we serve to support mutual program activities or projects. Our strengths are: creativity and innovation; reputation for providing quality and performance; private sector experience; regional planning review procedures; employment and training; technical or report writing; and the ability to provide general direction and accountability for projects. Supporting workforce and economic development in the Concho Valley: Coke, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Reagan, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton, and Tom Green counties along with statewide activities.

Strategic Planning

The Planning & Resource Development Department offers their experience in community planning and organization through proven organizational, planning, and leadership skills to provide strategic planning facilitation, direction and development of the plan document. Planning and Grant Writing services are provided to business and economic development organizations, educational institutions, non-profits, cities, counties, municipalities and formal partnerships.
