The WorkKeys assessments target up to 11 foundational workplace skill areas including Applied Mathematics, Listening, Locating Information, and Teamwork.  Workforce Solutions can tailor the assessments to fit the needs of each employer and/or job posting, providing the employer with only the most qualified and skilled applicants to consider for each job available.  Why hire an individual to only find out later that they do not have the skills needed to perform successfully on the job.  WorkKeys provides information upfront to the employer, as to if an applicant has the skills needed to be a productive, successful employee.

 

Workforce Solutions of the Concho Valley utilizes WorkKeys in an effort to match better-qualified applicants to the jobs employers are seeking to fill.  This system, developed by ACT, Inc., provides businesses with a valid screening and selection tool in which to identify appropriate skills possessed by each applicant.  Because WorkKeys is based on an objective comparison of the skills a person possesses with those required for successful job performance, it complies with EEOC standards.

The JOBS6 Assessment System developed by PESCO International has the capability to assess the interests, work aptitudes, temperaments and learning styles possessed by an individual.  The system can identify occupations in the local area that match to an individual’s assessment results; further enhancing their job search capabilities.  Some of the aptitudes assessed include finger dexterity, manual dexterity, hand-eye-foot coordination, motor coordination, verbal, and numeric and color discrimination.

Success Profiler is a self-paced, self-enhancement software system.  Success Profiler can be utilized to enhancing the emotional intelligence needed for success.  There are several different assessments that address specific areas such as: adapting to change, developing leadership skills, enhancing learning, and promoting sensitivity/diversity, building teamwork, or preventing violent behavior.   The time needed to complete an area varies and is based upon the specific needs of the individual being assessed.

 

The skills learned can help improve performance and reduce stress-at work, school, and in the home—by helping users learn how to increase self-restraint, self esteem and compassion, to relate better to others, and to achieve targeted goals.  Success Profiler is available to all job seekers and can assist employers in retaining employees needing to increase their awareness in specific areas.  It can be utilized as part of an employers program to promote and assist employees in providing a better work environment.
